This project took place last year in partnership with Hull College, YADA YADA NOISE, CHCP and Let's Talk.

This film was made to accompany a collaborative poem created by the HC Writing Group made up of students and staff. Its focus is on mental health and well-being and will be used as part of CHCP’s Let’s Talk Campaign.

There will be a drinks reception and buffet available and a chance for those involved and interested in the project to watch the film.

When? Tuesday 10th May – 6pm-8pm

Where? Taking place in the Brodrick Gallery and Lecture Theatre of the Institute of Art Building. 

We will also be having guest speakers…

 Dawn Barnes – a representative of CHCP – Dawn will talk about the organisation and how the project came about.

Joe Hakim – Joe will speak about the writing workshops he facilitated for HC Writing Group and how creative writing can be used as a therapeutic tool.

Tommy Smith – Tommy at the time of the project was a L3 Media student and was solely responsible for creating a film to accompany the collaborative poem. He will talk to us all about his thoughts on filming and provide a ‘directors commentary’.
